🎉 Our top 20 students who reached their Literacy Choice Board goals enjoyed a special Literacy Leader event in the Media Hub! 📚 Mrs. Palmer read Enemy Pie and sparked a great discussion about what makes a friend vs. an enemy. Students picked a friend trait they want to be known for and designed 3D bookmarks with their chosen words—printed right on our 3D printers as keepsakes! 🖨️✨ While waiting, Mrs. Zock introduced them to infographics and how to showcase their reading data visually. What a fun and inspiring day of learning! 🌟

It's all about MANUFACTURING at Hutto Elementary this week as students dig deeper into the Engineering Design Process and how things are made. From design and prototypes to testing and iterations, these students are hands on every day in their WOZ ED STEM PATHWAYS.

4th & 5th grade students have been practicing the design process by creating blueprints of robotic inventions and then testing them in the testing zone to identify enhancements and improve their prototypes.

3rd Grade students have been researching plants and animals from different biomes and designing 3D models of them in Tinkercad to print on the Flash Forg 3D printer.
