We would like to commend our administration, faculty, and staff for ensuring the safety of our students this morning during our severe weather event.
Additionally, we would like to thank all stakeholders for you patience and understanding as we returned to full power at Bainbridge Middle School and Bainbridge High School this morning.
Our generators did provide emergency power, and we are very thankful to have facilities that allow us to rely on generators during emergency situations.

Due to severe weather conditions this morning, some bus routes were unable to complete their full routes. If your child has not yet been picked up, please be aware that the bus will unfortunately not be able to reach your stop today. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as the safety of our students and drivers remains our top priority.

The severe weather that moved through our area earlier this morning has now passed, and conditions have improved.
We encourage students, families, and staff to use caution while traveling to school, as there may be debris, wet roads, or isolated impacts from the storm in some areas.
The safety of our students and staff is and will always remain our top priority. Thank you for taking your time and traveling safely this morning.

Bearcat Families, please continue to monitor the weather in our area and remain weather-aware while traveling to school this morning. If a tornado warning is issued, we will take the appropriate precautions to ensure everyone’s safety. The safety of our staff and students is and will remain our number one priority.

We are incredibly proud of the dedication they have shown to strengthening their knowledge of how students learn to read. Through this journey, they have gained powerful instructional strategies that will help support and grow strong readers in their classrooms for years to come.
A special thank you to our facilitators who helped guide and support this learning along the way: Mrs. Candance Rentz and Mrs. Sara Dollar (LETRS facilitators) and Mrs. Alicia Cloud (Georgia Literacy Modules facilitator). Your leadership and commitment to growing literacy instruction across our district is truly appreciated.
Your commitment to learning and improving instruction makes a lasting impact on our students. Thank you for investing in the success of every learner!

Our 5th grade learners did an incredible job bringing history to life during our Wax Museum! Students researched influential historical figures and proudly presented their learning through creative costumes, informative posters, and engaging presentations.
Guests had the opportunity to walk through history as students shared the stories and contributions of the amazing figures they studied. It was wonderful to see their confidence, creativity, and hard work shine!
We are extremely proud of the dedication our students showed throughout this project. Their efforts truly made this event a memorable learning experience for everyone involved.

Students who earned their 2nd‑9‑weeks points for the Literacy Choice Board attended the Sphero Snow-Sprint Showdown! Teams built sleds, coded Spheros to follow a path and collect all the items needed to build a snowman, then constructed their snowmen and enjoyed hot chocolate as a sweet celebration. Great work to our readers, coders, and builders — proud of your creativity and teamwork! ☕⛄👏
